The Peace Within Me is a series of paintings that explore the balance between structure and individuality. I begin by following geometric frameworks, but through the use of my handmade brushes, I pull the paint slowly, allowing each stroke to leave its own texture and mark. These traces embody my lived experience and history, suggesting that even within the structures of society and shifting cultures, we each inscribe something uniquely our own. The process is meditative, inviting reflection on how all of us navigate change while seeking belonging.
